I’ve heard some very poor quality podcasts over the last couple of years.

Alright I’ll say it; truly awful sounding productions…

I’m talking about the DIY approach to recording a podcast where the host places a microphone on a table in front of them, in a room with no acoustic treatment and records the entire episode with no post-editing which includes all the coughs, ‘um’s, ‘er’s, mistakes and the barking from next door’s dog.

For some perspective, a quick listen to any top performing podcast show on Spotify, or pick one from the many BBC channels, and you’ll soon realise where those DIY podcasters are missing out.

I say they’re missing out specifically because the quality of their shows has a direct impact on their brand, business, services or product. Like any other form of promotion or marketing; it has to be presented to the best standard possible in order to be an asset.

Working with a professional podcast producer, or editor, you’ll get the quality sounding show you need to stand out from your competitors.

In summary, you are a professional offering professional services or products, why wouldn’t you use the same standard when promoting your business?
